Press the "Input" icon in the bottom toolbar and set "system audio" as the recording source, so that we can record streaming BBC Radio Drama.
Click on the "Format" icon to open the "Format" menu. Now you can change the format of the output Drama tracks, as well as their codec, channel, bit rate, and sample rate. If you think that's too much of a hassle, simply choose "High Quality" or "Small Size" in the "Preset" option, and the rest sound settings will adjust accordingly. Next, press the "Preferences" button in the upper right, then select the folder where you want the Dramas to be saved. To increase the efficiency, you can also turn on the automatic split function here, so that you can leave the Drama playing one episode after another.
To turn this feature on, tick the "Split the Recordings Individually" option, and then the "Recording Is Silent" option under the "Delete Recordings Automatically" box. Press the red "Start Recording" button first and then play the Drama, and the software will capture the streaming audio in real-time. It is totally fine to leave a drama playing from episode 1 to the last, as the software will record each episode individually.
When all the episodes finish playing, press the "Stop Recording" to make the recording process stop. If you need to cut out the unwanted segments, such as ads or pauses, Tap the "Edit" icon at the rear of them to open the audio editor. First of all, you can clip the tracks by dragging the time bar. Secondly, you can adjust the equalizer to make the Dramas more enjoyable to listen to. Finally, you can edit the tags to archive the downloaded and recorded tracks better.
All the Dramas posted in this programme is downloadable. To download them, simply press the "Download" button beside each item, and the MP3 file of the Drama will be downloaded to your computer. The drawback of this method is that there is only a limited number of Dramas posted on this programme.
